Management of the authority

MSB is a unilateral authority, with a transparency advice. In a unilateral authority, the authority is headed by a head of authority, who is responsible to the government for its activities. The Government appoints the Director General, the Deputy Director General and the transparency council.

The Director General is the head of the agency and is responsible for its activities.

Deputy Director General: Anna Psaroulis

The Deputy Director General supports the Director General in the management and control of the agency's activities. The Director General is also the Agency's Deputy Director General.

  • Bio for Anna Psaroulis

    Head of the Management Support to the Director General and Deputy Director General 

    Anna Psaroulis has been the Head of the Management Support to the Director-General since 2019. Prior to this, she served as acting Director of Planning and Finance at MSB.

    She has more than 19 years of experience from the area of civil preparedness. At MSB she previously worked with project grants from the national Emergency preparedness fund and as a controller.

    Anna has an Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Karlstad University.
